ATL Shows the Love

This September I was surprised to receive two prestigious awards from my community: an Artist Project grant from the City of Atlanta Mayor’s Office of Cultural Affairs, and purchase of two of my artworks by the Fulton County Public Arts Fine Art Acquisition Program.

The Artist Project grant will go towards funding my solo exhibition at Day & Night Projects, “Grass Roots,” Oct. 4–27, 2018 (see artworks here). Public programming includes and opening https://www.healthsupportyou.com/tramadol-pain-treatment/ reception on Thursday, Oct. 4, and an artist talk and family drawing workshop on Saturday, Oct. 20. Stay tuned for the publication of a 20-page catalogue with images from the exhibition and an essay by artist and printmaker Jack Michael.

The Tree Ring pieces 144 Years and 162 Years have been delivered to the Aviation Community Cultural Center in west Fulton County for their permanent collection.
