A shadowy, kneeling figure crouches over a bramble of electronic stereo equipment in the hazy, incense-filled MOCA GA gallery. So begins a “magical operation” with live and recorded sound that will establish rhythmic, spiraling sonic patterns and chants. The voices of unjust and unsustainable policies will be invoked, only to be torn into shreds by scratching, shushing, physically altering, and collaging the sounds.
